This morning we also had to get up quite early and this time from our host families houses. We ate breakfast
and left for school, it was dark and cold outside, just like in Finland. At school we met other Erasmus
students. We had icebreaker exercises to get to know each other, we did survey and school presentations.
Then we went to the city hall and after that we had lunch. Then we went to an old church ‘Alte Kirche am Markt’
and we climbed the stairs. When we were at the top of the tower, we were able to see almost the whole Nordhorn
city. It was beautiful and worth climbing. When the church visit was over we had another thing to do before having
spare time. We had to ask random local people the three survey questions. After that we went to have hot
chocolate with our hosts and that was really delicious. We spent there about an hour talking and enjoying the
hot chocolate. Then we left the place and some of us went back "home" by bus. In the evening some of us went
to a German student's home. There were eight of us. We played a couple of games, ate snacks and talked. It was
quite fun. During the whole day we learned lots of new things and we met new people. We also learned many
things about Nordhorn city.
