Tuesday 21st Jan 2020: Day 2 in Finland (written by Maaria Rautakoski)

The weather was really windy, but the day was still awesome. Luckily our morning activity was moved  inside. In the morning we made at least William’s puppy fever bigger. A service dog “Zinna” visited our school and Laura held a presentation of service dogs in general. After that it was time for us to go to  Hiekkasärkät by bus. We arrived at the stables where the stable owner Outi Talvi was already waiting for us. Our biology teacher Päivi Myllylä was there, too. Together first they  gave us a tour of the stable. All who were willing got to ride a bit with real horses and after that it was time to work with hobby horses. We had a hobby horse race. Everyone got a ribbon with a different colour. Then it was time for the best activity - Eating. Some walked to our lunch place through the forest and the laziest drove there (Emma, Silja and Sirpa LOL). Tummies were full of delicious meatballs from Tapion Tupa. Finally after that some free time for the hard working students. Most of us went swimming to Spa SaniFani, then we had dinner  at Hesburger. As newborn children with lots of energy we went  bowling.

In the evening people came together in different places and spent quality time together.

‘Shitpant’ (the card game) became very familiar to our guests!
